Spend a full day at ZSL London Zoo, home to more than 720 animal species. See Asiatic lions at Land of the Lions, Sumatran tigers, Humboldt penguins, gorillas, giraffes, coral reef fish, and Galápagos giant tortoises. Your entry ticket includes access to the zoo, while transport and food cost extra.

Spend a full day exploring Chester Zoo, home to more than 30,000 animals, 520 species, 130 acres of gardens, and the UK’s largest tropical biodome. See giraffes, lemurs, orangutans, snow leopards, bats, butterflies, and more, with daily safari ranger talks, playgrounds, picnic areas, and a free Lazy River Boat ride.

Use your mobile ticket to enter ZSL London Zoo and explore at your own pace for roughly three to five hours. See Land of the Lions, Tiger Territory, Humboldt penguins, giraffes, Gorilla Kingdom, and Tiny Giants. There is no guide, hotel transfer, food, or luggage storage, so plan your visit independently.
“Everyone must do this! It's one of the most famous zoos in the world and a great day out. There is plenty of space to walk around or enjoy a coffee or ice cream. The animals all seem very happy and well looked after. I'd recommend going on a weekday as it would be less crowded, but since it's so big, I don't think there is ever a problem of waiting in queues to see any of the animals.”
Spend about eight hours at Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World near Telford, seeing more than 100 animal species, 45 animatronic dinosaurs, feeding talks, and selected walkthrough habitats. Guides such as Natalie and Jody lead optional animal experiences, while the standard ticket covers the full day of admission.
“I came in with my nephew, we loved looking at the animals, we did however think that the ‘Feed the baby T-Rex’ activity was not suitable for younger children, it was very loud and overwhelming, it may be more suitable for children aged over 6, my 3 year old nephew found it very distressing”
Spend a full day at Blackpool Zoo, where Asian elephants, big cats, red pandas, lemurs, wallabies, penguins, and many more animals live across 37 acres. Plan around the daily talks, feeds, and sea lion demonstration. Walk-through habitats bring you close to lemurs, birds, and wallabies, while Dinosaur Safari adds a prehistoric twist.
“the whole experience was amazing , the only let down was the price of food and the food service was not amazing but the actual zoo staff amazing and polite would defo come again but would bring a picnic next time which is a shame has we like to do the 2hole out for the day experience”
